    kmander says:

I’ve been involved in online marketing for some time, dabbling with PPC and affiliate marketing mainly. I’ve just recently been exploring site buying and see it as a scalable business venture.

I’ve purchased one site thus far, costing me several thousand dollars. It appears that I’ll recoup the investment in 9-months since purchase.

I’m now actively looking for other sites to purchase and have a few cunning ways in which to do so (the key is to find sites and not allow them to come to the buyers).

Furthermore, I’m looking to put together a formal business plan in attempt to get a commercial loan/seed money to allow me to go full time (in theory): acquiring sites, redeveloping them, SEO and monitisation.

I like your blog since there isn’t much material out there on this. Do you know of any blogs/sites that discusses this business model?

I’m also from West Sussex 😉

I fly from Shoreham so I look over your shoulder every month, lol.

Seriously, how much importance do you put to how the site is developed. ie. XsitePro based site compared to say a Joomla CMS site. ?
